Right off the bat, the voicing and change of art styles are slightly confusing. For an RPG Maker Game, it's just very out of place. But the Non-Alphes Art is pretty impressive. Did you draw them? Also, the battle system. In the first battle against the Shadow Creature, Hotaru does about 50 damage. When Miki joins the party, she does about 75 damage. It just doesn't make sense considering Hotaru and Miki are just teenage-to-young-adult aged girls. And they were able to take down a spirit in 2 hits. I think it would make more sense for someone much stronger to come to the rescue. It would give players a "hey, I wanna be that guy" feeling, and it fixes the issue with Hotaru and Miki being 3rd degree black belts right off the bat. Also, if you were going for a scarier atmosphere, decrease the amount of monsters. The only thing scarier than what you can see is what you can't see. Also, the merchant's voice acting is a bit -TOO- distinct. It sounds almost like he's yelling at two little girls because he can.   

Nitpicking aside, I do like the monster design, the background music, and the characters.
