Hi, guys! I've been updating the My Life Has Fleas fanfic. I haven't been revealling a lot about Koyuki's past, but worry not. As the demon/vampire draws near, so will the secrets of the Fujiwara and the Kumonara clan... In fact, when Koyuki first sees Naraku (in disguise, of course), he starts to explain a small secret about the two clans... A secret that involves Koyuki.


"And yet... The two clans fought throughout time... Until one human decided to try his love with a lady of the Kumonara clan. Since the two lovers married, the name Kumonara has been erased from history."
He glanced from the midnight sky to me.
"And if I remember right," he said, calmly. "You're from the Fujiwara clan as well... Miss Koyuki..?"
"How do you know me?!" I gasped.
He chuckled.
"The young daughter of the famous Reiko Fujiwara... I thought everyone knew that..."
I glanced down at my shoes. It seems like everyone, human and demon, knew who Mom was.
"You look like her..."
I glanced back up at the bamboon masked stranger.
"Especially your eyes..."
"That's enough! Who are you?!"
The stranger walked off past me.
"I told you already... The sole survivor of the lost Kumonara clan."
He reached for my hair and caressed it against his fingers. He seemed to kiss it, too.
"Until next time... Farewell, Koyuki Mei-chan..."
And just like that, he was off into the night.


Nice exterpt, huh? I'll be trying to work on the fanfic, too. Sorry I haven't uploaded any drawings..
